What deep tissue massage is
Deep tissue massage uses slower, firmer pressure and stays longer on fewer areas than a general massage. It’s commonly associated with the neck, shoulders, lower back and hips.
Deep tissue or sports massage?
In general, deep tissue is slower and aimed at long-held tension, and sports massage is more targeted at training load. On this site both are booked as the same 45-minute massage and stretch session: tell me what you’re after when you book.
